Structural Types & Formats
JIC 37° Flare (SAE J514)
The most common hydraulic connection. Features a metal-to-metal seating mechanism providing excellent vibration resistance and reliable fluid sealing across medium to high-pressure fluid lines.
O-Ring Face Seal (ORFS)
Utilizes a captive elastomeric O-ring resting in a precision-machined groove on the fitting face. Eliminates hydraulic weeping entirely and resists extreme pressure impulses and mechanical vibrations.
DIN 2353 Bite-Type (Ermeto)
Metric hydraulic tube fittings utilizing a progressive cutting ring (ferrule) that securely bites into the steel tube wall. Known for exceptional hold strength in heavy machinery and shipbuilding.
Push-to-Connect (PTC)
Instant pneumatic tube connections requiring no tools. Internal stainless steel grab-rings securely hold nylon, PU, or PTFE tubing, allowing for rapid assembly and reconfiguration of factory automation lines.
